Ethan Andrews, 34
Captain, Liberty Navy (retired)
Ethan is a retired naval officer of the Liberty Navy. He served as the executive officer to Captain Walker during the secretive Nomad War. Unlike his former captain, he is admittedly a modest if sometimes reserved man. Although somewhat reserved, he is easy to approach and was often described as the "officer to serve under if he ever had his own command". Months after the Nomad War had ended, the Navy, under the recommendation of Rear Admiral Walker, promoted Ethan Andrews from Commander to Captain. He was given one of the brand new Mark II cruisers and served aboard as its commanding officer for a one year service. After which he retired for personal reasons.
He traveled throughout Sirius for almost a year until he finally returned back to Manhattan. Shortly thereafter, his new best friend, Jason, and him formed Grayson Mercenary Service. Soon after, they were fulfilling various private military contracts with various House police and military organizations as well as starting contracts with private businesses and some individuals. It was even rumored that due to his participation in the Nomad War, he had received a special clearance within The Order. It is further alleged that using this special clearance and his close ties with the Liberty Navy was how the Grayson Mercenary Service had acquired a cruiser.
However accepted his new PMC was, there were allegations of misconduct and purported reports that the group participated in various activities that ranged from bribing of officials to commercial raiding to assassinations. Although no one had any hard proof GMS participated in any of these sort of activities, the negative press alone was enough to tarnish the former Navy captain's reputation. Seeking to avoid the media and any potential backlash, Ethan sold his modest home in the suburbs of Manhattan's capitol and now is rumored to live and work aboard the company's flagship and purported base of operations.
