i thought id post a new thread. this one on server outtakes. anything odd or funny. little weird bugs that dont happen everday. post em.

heres a bug that happen just after a lagg out. me & afew others were lagged out. & when i logged back on & went to kepler there was a contact 'Arch's_AT' on my scanners but he was in galileo. but had contact in kepler. so i told him to come over & check this out. but he saw nothing. so i relogged & it was fixed.

heres another one that happened when a outcast renamed he's char & all he did was remove one little something from it & this is a error the server kepted giving. you could not talk or do anything for this message.

I assume these are old issues and aren't still happening? You should probably add the approximate dates in there too so I don't go digging through the server to find out what the frig is going on.

Well its gotta be pretty recent because it has 1 of his new members there

also his legion char is pretty new becasue it left CTP recently due to them becoming established

i just made this thread for people to post things that are odd or funny. just server hick ups. not a debugging thread. just outtakes of what the server does when it gets mad..

The one with me happened last Thursday I think. I assumed it was due to me lagging out and the server still thinking I was in game as I couldn't log back on for several minutes. Which happens when the lag is as bad as it was, FL locked up so I had to cancel FL.exe in task manager, and as I was lagging when I did that the server still thought I was logged in.

I couldn't figure out what he was carrying on about until he started shooting it and my shield started going down. I logged out again and it fixed that but he could still see the ship until he relogged.

Sorry for not posting it but given it was lag related I didn't think it was a problem with the server so much as my lousy connection. Lag's been known to do some really strange things so when lag's involved I generally don't bother posting it as a bug.

Oh I'm not saying these are bad bugs or anything, but I just wanted to know if they were recent or not and whether they happen often enough to be an issue.
